Winners of the odd object competition gathered last week to collect their prizes. Over 400 forms were given out and 165 returned for marking.
In the 9 & Under category, Tilly & Dotty Williams of Weston Grove tied for 1st place out of 85, with only one error. They will share the sweets courtesy of Tudor Sweets.
Two entries out of 47 tied for 1st place with only one error in the 10 to 16 category. By “lot” Kieran Terry & Josh Murphy of Park Walk who entered a joint effort won and each win a printed t-shirt courtesy of Flying Colours.
Out of 33 entries in the 17 & Over category, one clear winner was Sarah Williams of Weston Grove who will have the Cream tea for two, courtesy of Pots and Pieces.
The competition proved to be as popular as ever and will be sure to run again next summer.

A BIG thank you from David and Sara and all the staff to more than 250 people (local and visitors) who voted  Pots and Pieces the ‘Best Indy Cafe/Restaurant in Ross-on-Wye' in the 'Discover Ross Competition'.
Pictured outside the shop this morning with Jesse Norman MP, Sara and David and one of Sara's homemade Carrot Cakes. We are thrilled to have won this first place award and were humbled by the lovely feedback we received about both the teashop and gift shop sides of our business.

Pots and Pieces are pleased to present our new and improved website. We will keep posting new of all the events, activities and special offers we are having at the shop. Thank you for taking the time to visit our site and we hope to see you at the shop before too long!
Remember - by supporting your local independent shops, you stand a chance of keeping them around. Ross-on-Wye is fortunate to have a great collection of independent traders so please choose to "Buy in Ross-on-Wye". I thought the advert on the side of this van in Trafalgar Square was thought provoking...
