Pots and Pieces Teashop & Gift Shop
changes hands...
After thirteen successful years of trading, Pots and Pieces Teashop and Gift Shop has been sold to new owners. David and Sara Bruce who opened the shop on the High Street in Ross-on-Wye in 2008 are looking forward to a quieter life in retirement and more time with their grandchildren and families. The new owners, mother and daughter team Laurence and Meg are looking forward to welcoming customers to the new shop which is to be called The Ginger Hut Cafe. They will not be changing too many aspects of the Tea and Coffee Shop, still offering high quality food and drink along with a friendly welcome. Laurence said “We look forward to meeting David and Sara’s regular customers and lots of new customers at The Ginger Hut Cafe. We will be offering much of what has been so popular in the past along with some of our own new ideas.”
Pots and Pieces is recognised by Trip Advisor as number one Teashop and Retail shop in Ross along with winning accolades from the Times Newspaper, Restaurant Guru and the Hidden Places of England guide book. They were proud to hold a 5 star Hygiene Rating throughout the years and were finalists in the Flavours of Herefordshire along with being voted “Number One Place to Eat in Ross-on-Wye in the Discover Ross competition organised by Jesse Norman in 2014.
David and Sara would like to thank all their staff, past and present, their regular customers and the thousands of visitors that have made working in our market town so enjoyable.
David and Sara said “We are so happy that Laurence and Meg are taking over, we couldn’t have found nicer people. We hope they both enjoy the shop as much as we have and we look forward to seeing their new business go from strength to strength”.
